Shmuel Ben Dror (March 3, 1932 – February 18, 2006) was an Israeli association football player.[1][2]
Ben Dror was born in Petah Tikva. He played defense for and was the first captain of the Israeli national soccer team.[1][3] He scored Israel's first goal, in 1948, in a match against the United States.[1]
He also played for Maccabi Petah Tikva.[1][4]
In addition, he served on the board of directors of the Israel Football Association.[1]
